Maximillian Morgan, AIF®
Financial Planner

Max began his career in an internal sales role at a boutique hedge fund in Seattle, Washington, Nine Point Capital Partners. His experience spans many different roles within our industry, including but not limited too; private equity sales, mutual find distribution and financial planning. Prior to co-founding IDM, Max acted in a business development role for Risk x Funds located in Portland, Oregon and Omaha Nebraska. Max holds the AIF designation and operates as the Head of Business Development for IDM.

Max lives in West Linn, Oregon with his wife Angela, daughter Stella and his son Judah.

During off hours Max enjoys playing golf, coaching kids’ soccer, basketball and football. He also spends time watching his daughter Stella compete in gymnastics and helping Angela with her business, Luxe Atelier. Justin Sumner, CFS®
Financial Planner

Entering the financial services profession in 2007 as an advisor with MetLife, Justin Sumner quickly recognized the benefits people reaped by planning for their future. Justin is inspired by assisting others plan for one of life’s most important stages, namely retirement. In 2010, Justin made the key decision to become a non-captive financial advisor, where he has focused his skills on Income Planning and Wealth Management. He hasn’t looked back since.

Devoted to providing outstanding guidance, Justin has attained the Certified Fund Specialist (CFS®) designation from the Institute of Business and Finance.

He is also a member of The CMT Association. These organizations foster Justin’s ability in accessing fund selection and portfolio management. Always advocating for his clients, he believes that having an effective retirement strategy is the best way forward, in order to achieve one’s financial goals.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Justin has enjoyed living his entire life in the region. He is married to his lovely wife Sylvia and together, they have a son named Aiden. Recently, Justin and his family split time between Oregon and Nevada. In his off-time, Justin enjoys the outdoors, motorsports and spending time with his friends & family.

Andrew Becvar, CFP®
Financial Planner

While earning a degree in economics from Portland State University in 2008, Andrew was introduced to the financial services industry as an Operations Manager for the OSJ of FSC Securities – providing wealth management and holistic financial planning services. Andrew has since served in multiple roles around Portland, including as an IRA/RR (“Financial Advisor”), M&A / Business Planning Project Manager, Chief Compliance Officer, and President of a financial planning-focused Registered Investment Advisor. After earning the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2015, Andrew now focuses on supporting established wealth management firms, and brings his knowledge of financial planning program best-practices to IDM.

Andrew enjoys live music, stand-up comedy, website development, skiing, traveling, and spending time with family. Andrew is currently serving as the Chair of the Greater Portland Compliance Association, an organization committed to supporting local financial-service compliance professionals.

Tim Slevin-Vegdahl
Financial Planner

Tim discovered a passion for direct customer service while working at Intel as an Automation Software Support Specialist. Helping friends and family navigate the complexities of their finances and realizing his knack for the subject led Tim to study-for and pass the CFP® exam, and Tim is now working towards the remaining requirements to earn the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Tim has been married to Ezra since 2009; and together, they live in the historic Goose Hollow neighborhood of Portland, Oregon with their dog Lily. When not studying, building financial tools or coding, Tim enjoys tabletop games, walking downtown, biking, and testing out new technologies. Tim is also involved in non-profit work that improves the safety of local streets for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.
